occupational therapy

What We Offer

At Central PA Therapy Connections, our pediatric occupational therapists use play and real-life activities to build the foundational skills children need to succeed at school, at home, and in the community. Whether your child is working on hand strength, emotional regulation, recognizing letters and numbers, or trying new foods, we make therapy fun and functional!

Our occupational therapy sessions focus on helping your child:

  • Build independence with dressing, feeding, and self-care routines

  • Develop fine motor skills for writing, cutting, coloring, and using utensils

  • Build skills for school success, including recognizing letters and numbers, writing, and copying from the board

  • Improve attention and self-regulation to better participate in everyday activities

Sensory Integration

Our OTs have specialized training in sensory integration and use our on-site sensory gym and self-regulation equipment to help children better understand and respond to information from their senses. Sensory integration therapy can help your child:

  • Respond more effectively to sensory information

  • Improve focus and attention

  • Develop emotional regulation skills

  • Participate more successfully in everyday activities
